Anyone can write "gentle on skin." We let independent testing say it instead: Bammies diapers are tested by Dermatest® and certified to OEKO-TEX.
What does Dermatest® mean?
Dermatest® is an independent dermatological institute that tests products on skin under controlled conditions. Because our diapers have gone through their testing, the skin-friendly claim doesn't come from us — it comes from dermatologists. Proof, not buzzwords.
The full chain of proof
- Dermatest® — dermatologically tested on skin
- OEKO-TEX — materials checked for harmful substances
- FSC — responsibly produced cellulose filling
- TCF bleaching — no chlorine-based chemicals in production
- No rayon — enzyme-produced bamboo fibers, not bamboo viscose
Why it matters
A diaper sits against your baby's skin around the clock — roughly 2,500 changes in the first year alone. Few products have that much skin contact for that long, which is why we believe diapers should be held to a higher standard of proof than most things. And the certifications we don't have? We're not Nordic Swan certified, for example — and we say so openly. What we claim should be verifiable.
