Wet shirts, soaked sheets, yet another load of laundry. Leaks are usually caused by size or fit, not the diaper. The good news: it can almost always be fixed in five minutes.
The quick check that stops leaks
- Fluff out the leak guards, the elastic around the legs should be folded outward, not tucked in
- High at the back, pull the diaper up a little extra at the back so it sits high on the waist
- The two-finger rule, roughly two fingers of room at the waist means snug without gaping
- Leaking at the back, between the legs, or at night? That's the classic sign it's time for the next size up
Good to know about our sizes
Bammies diapers run slightly larger than many other brands. If your child is between two sizes, we recommend the smaller size in pants and the larger size in taped diapers. Weight ranges are always a guideline, children are built differently around the tummy, legs, and back, and sometimes another style fits better. The size guide will take you a good part of the way.
Our fit guarantee
We'll help you until the fit is just right. If you experience leaks or fit issues, we'll send free samples in a different size, just email us your child's weight, age, and which size you've tried. For quality issues, we offer a free replacement. The goal is simple: a diaper that fits the way it should and stays leak-free, day and night.
