Diaper subscription: how it works, what's included, and why the wipes belong in the same box

Glad mamma packar upp en kartong med Bammies blöjor i ett ljust barnrum medan ett busigt småbarn i blå t-shirt och blöja tittar fram mellan benen på golvet i förgrunden.

There are things in life with little ones that are worth planning. Buying diapers isn't one of them. Yet that's exactly what many parents do: counting packs, comparing shelves, racing to the shop at seven on a Sunday evening because the last diaper just got used up. A diaper subscription removes that whole step. The diapers arrive at your door. You switch sizes as your baby grows. And you can pause whenever you want.

Here we explain how the Bammies subscription works, what's actually in the box, which certifications stand behind the diapers, and why we think the wipes should ride along on the same schedule.

How the Bammies diaper subscription works

The basic idea is simple. You pick a diaper and a size, and we deliver a month's supply to your door, every month. Free shipping on every delivery. No lock-in period. Everything else you manage yourself in your account.

  • Pick your diaper. Open diapers for the littlest ones, or pant diapers for children who climb, run and have opinions about diaper changes. Choose the size based on your child's weight from the latest check-up at the child health clinic.
  • Delivered to your door. A whole month in one box. Smaller sizes contain more diapers, because newborns need changing more often.
  • You're in charge. Switch sizes, change delivery frequency, pause or cancel whenever you like. It all happens in your account, without calling anyone.

That's the whole model. No fine print. No months you're stuck in.

What's good and easy about a diaper subscription

No more running-out panic

Diapers are a consumable with zero margin for error. When they're gone, they're gone, usually in the middle of the night. With one delivery a month, the next box is already in the hallway before the last one is empty.

The size grows with your child

Babies grow in spurts. A subscription doesn't lock you into one size. When your baby moves from The Newborn to The Baby, you just switch it in your account, and the next box arrives in the right size. Not sure which one fits? The size guide will help you, and if your child is between two sizes, our customer service will help you find the right fit.

Less to carry, less plastic in the hallway

The box comes to your door, so you carry nothing more than your child. And the packaging is paper, not plastic film. More on that in a moment.

Peace of mind if the skin disagrees

Many parents find Bammies because their baby's skin protested against other diapers. That's why we give you your money back if the diaper causes a rash. If it leaks, or the fit is wrong, we'll send free samples in another size or a replacement box. We want it to work, not just for you to subscribe.

The certifications behind every diaper

We're happy to say our diapers are kind to skin. But we think you should be able to check that. That's why there are three independent stamps behind every box that arrives at your door.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100

OEKO-TEX certification means the material has been tested for harmful substances according to an independent standard. For a product that sits against your baby's skin around the clock, it's one of the most important things to be able to show. Our diapers are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Dermatest, rated Excellent

Dermatest is an independent skin test. Our diapers have been rated Excellent, which is clinical confirmation of what parents write in their reviews: red bottoms calm down when they switch to bamboo against the skin.

FSC-certified packaging

The box and packaging are FSC-certified paper, not plastic wrap. It's a small detail that becomes a big one when it lands on your doorstep every month.

And then there's what we don't claim: we don't say the diaper is free of plastic. It contains significantly less plastic than conventional diapers, with a plant-based outer layer. That's true, we can stand behind it, and that's enough.

Here's what you get in the box, every month

What makes the subscription worth its name is, of course, what's inside it. Every Bammies diaper has:

  • 100% bamboo against the skin. The innermost layer, the one that actually touches your baby, is bamboo fibers through and through. Soft, breathable and gentle on sensitive skin.
  • Up to 12 hours dry. Bamboo fibers absorb liquid efficiently, so nights can stay nights.
  • No lotions, no perfumes. Free from perfume, chlorine, phthalates, parabens, latex, PVC, dyes and alcohol.
  • TCF bleaching. Totally Chlorine Free, meaning no chlorine-based chemicals in production.
  • Plant-based wetness indicator. You can see when it's time, without opening up to check.

Or as one parent put it in their review: "Soft, flexible and leak-proof. Gentle on the skin." That's pretty much what we were aiming for.

Wipes on subscription: the smartest add-on

Now for the part of diaper changing everyone forgets to plan for. Wipes run out just as fast as diapers. Usually faster. And there isn't a baby in the world who waits patiently while you hunt for a new pack.

That's why we think The Bamboo Water Wipe belongs in the same delivery rhythm as the diapers. The logic is the same: whatever touches your baby's skin several times a day should be gentle, and it should be at home when you need it.

  • Same idea as the diapers. Bamboo against the skin, for a bottom that gets wiped many times a day.
  • Same rhythm. Add wipes to your subscription and they arrive together with the diapers. One box, one diaper-change stash, zero extra errands.
  • Pick the pack to match your pace. The 4-pack lasts longer and suits the family that goes through wipes at rocket speed.

If you change diapers with bamboo against the skin and then wipe with something completely different, you lose half the point. Keep it together. Diapers and wipes, same box, same care.

Who is a subscription for?

Honestly: almost anyone who changes diapers several times a day. But especially you if you:

  • have a newborn and want one less thing to keep track of in the first few weeks,
  • have a child with sensitive skin and want the same gentle diaper every day, without the store shelf deciding for you,
  • want to cut down on plastic at home without turning it into a project,
  • are simply tired and want diapers and wipes to show up at home on their own.

Get started

Pick your line, pick your size by weight, add wipes and let the box do the work. Want to try first? There's a sample kit with three diapers in every size, so you can feel the material before you decide.

Open diapers on subscription or pant diapers on subscription. Free shipping, no commitment, pause whenever you like.

Less plastic. More logic. And the wipes in the same box.
